Second Trade: Infield Fly

Adam over at Infield Fly has many shiny Rockies cards on his fine blog and I asked if he would be interested in a Nolan Arenado rainbowish holo 2015 Topps card and a few other rockies and we worked out a trade which he blogged about a few days ago. I was out of town for work and came home to a great package with almost 80 Braves cards 80% of which I didn't have.

Well let's just say if this was a battle Adam would've won in a landslide.

I am tracking down all of these Upper Deck masterpiece cards if they look half as good as this Chipper Jones swing.... man what a swing.
You can never go wrong with Chipper, 2 retro needs knocked out.
More throwback cards I didn't have plus a Fleer sticker... I used most of mine as a kid but am sending out a few in some  trades tomorrow. Jair Jurrjens and Tommy Hanson were our 1-2 just a few years ago and have been bouncing around the minors ever since. Can not wait for 2015 Allen & Ginter to come out.
RIP Braves 2011 rookie class... at least we still have Freddie Freeman.
Who doesn't like shiny cards? 2 former Braves from the south on Bowman Platinum 2012. This Panini Extra of prospect Bryan De La Rosa might be the best looking logo-less shot I've seen.

Can't go wrong with two shiny Hall of Famers 2009 Upper Deck SPX. Makes me miss Upper Deck that much more.

Some recent Topps I didn't have - 2013 Topps Kris Medlen, I hope Medlen comes back strong with Kansas City. Huddy looks like he just hit a homer on this 2012 Topps card, you can see his teammates celebrating in the dugout so probably a no doubter. Some more Upper Deck from 2009 that looks damn good of Frenchy & Esco both currently haunting the NL East with different clubs.

He also  sent me pretty much the whole 2011 Topps Braves team set

Check out George Sherrill's extra baggy uniform here and the classic Topps rookie cup on the Heyward

This isn't even half of what Adam sent. Thanks alot man I have a return package I am working on for you and will be looking for Rockies cards at the card show this weekend. If you haven't yet make a trade with Infield Fly.

  1. I'm with The Chop Keeper -- the UD Masterpiece of Chipper is a great looking card.

  2. That Hudson card reminds me of Jay Bruce's from 2011 Topps.

    1. Yes it does. I think Bruce's was a walkoff homer though.
